About Us
Owner Ry Wohnsen loves the outdoors. Raised in northern Minnesota, he grew up in a family that taught the importance of appreciating and respecting Nature and her resources. With both parents being artists, his interests leaned toward design.
Ry has brought that appreciation for nature and talent for design into his work. Drawn to the outdoor life in Jackson, he fell in love with the area and settled in, opening South Park Nursery in 2003.
Through owning and operating a nursery and all of its hard work, Ry has developed many lasting relationships with clients and friends and is now in demand as a landscape designer throughout the area.
Using indigenous and hearty plant materials, Ry helps to create an environment that blends in with the natural beauty of Wyoming. He enjoys working with a variety of different stone and materials to create retaining walls, patios, paths and stairs. The higher altitude in Jackson often calls for special irrigation sytems to control moisture. Ry is an expert at designing, installing and maintaining spinkler systems.
Today, Ry and his staff are available to help design your landscape, whether it be around your residence or your business. Southpark Nursey can provide regular maintenance to keep your trees, plants and lawn beautiful and prooperty weed-free. In the winter, call on Southpark to move the snow from your roads, roofs, patios and walkways.
